RE: Lifespan of an A/C unit

THANK YOU ALL for your advice... the forum always gives me a second, third fourth and so on opinion to what the RV dealership Service department tells me.

Lifespan of an A/C unit

We have a 1998 Jaco 5th wheel and the a/c is starting to have problems turning on, it sounds like it is seizing up. If I shut it off and back on again it starts very slowly with a struggle. What is the lifespan of an a/c unit and if we just replaced the fan about 4 months ago... does this indicate a new a/c unit is needed?

Black water OVERFLOW...OH NO!

So I dumped the black water tank and thought it would be a good idea to REALLY clean it out, so I closed the tank and shoved the hose down the toilet and held it there...5 minutes later when the water started up the pipe I cut the water off just in time, so no water in the bathroom! BUT...when I went outside, it was pouring out of the bottom of the camper!!! I ran to the black tank and opend and let it out as quick as I could... There was no water in the storage area thank god, so the question is...what stands between the actual tank under the camper and the piece of whatever that covers it? Could something be damaged and should I tell my husband? :R:E

RE: Tool that dumps water off the slide awnings?????

he he ;)... I wish It was that simple for us... see we have so much******in/on them inside that we would have to move it all to get them in... I mean we really full time, on our property not in a park.

Tool that dumps water off the slide awnings?????

We full time in a 5th wheel and every time it rains we are getting out the ladder and broom to dump the water off the slide awnings. Is there a tool out there specifically for this??? The only "pro" here is that my biceps are huge from carring the ladder around!
